When you were little who was your favorite super hero, and why? (Doesn't have to be some cartoon figure or movie star--unless you want it to be.)

For me, my SUPER hero was my dad. In my eyes he could accomplish ANYTHING from fixing car engines to remodeling our house to providing total safety and security for my family to teaching me what it meant to truly live a Christ-centered life. What an amazing man he was. Although he died some 25 years ago, I STILL miss him and think of him often.

Captain Kangaroo and Captain 11! I know it's two, but they both are high on the list! I would put Captain Kangaroo first, though.

Linda, ah, Captain Kangaroo taught us so much, really. Rarely as a young girl did I miss one of his segments. Mr. Greenjeans was one of my faves.

Sadly, I don't remember Captain 11. Who was that? Do tell.

Captain 11 had a show for kids on Channel 11 out of Sioux Falls, SD. He would one kid be 'the star of the day' each day. He played cartoons, had games. Fun for us kids.

I don’t recall any superheroes I looked up to in my life but there was a super family. THE BRADY BUNCH! I grew up with them and always wanted to be in such a family. My favorites, maybe because I’m a middle child myself, were Jan and Peter. Funny, I married a Peter.
